The Blaze were a charter-member of the Oregon Football League when it took the field in 1998.  Over the next two years the post-season would play out the same, knock out the Crusaders in the playoffs, fall to the Warriors in the Championship.

Down 24-0 at halftime against the Warriors on May 8, 1999, the Blaze rallied to upset the undefeated 1998 OFL Champions 34-30 behind Dan Woodward, former Eagle Point High QB, and Mike Morrell (Linfield College).  Both men would go on to star with the Warriors over the years to come.
 
The Blaze lasted only two seasons with the OFL with most players remaining merging with the Rogue Warriors which went on to claim three more OFL Crowns in the 2000's.
