Jack Foley, Dan McLeod, Howard Opie, John Mahoney, Jack Purcell, A.R. Melzner, and L.P. Donovan were recruited to play the second game with Miles City after losing the first game.

Following the 1921 season, HB Jenkins earned 2nd Team All-Star honors as picked by Jean Jordan after scoring 12 points tied for 4th in the league.

In a blowout loss to Dublin Gulch on Oct 21, 1923; Clarence "Nig" Smart picked off a Comanche pass at his own 10-yard line and raced unmolested for a 90-yard TD and the only Vagabond score.  The longest such play in league history at the time.   Smart would go on to become an All-Star with Dublin Gulch and Centerville through the 1938 season retiring as the oldest player in the league (38 yrs).  Smart began working in the mines at age 15 (1918) until 1954, passing away in 1964.

Walkerville voted to drop out of the Butte League on September 14, 1926 releasing their players to go play with other teams.
