Puggy Hunton, former Gonzaga University and Gonzaga High coach said the Rams will play the Notre Dame shift offense he used in college and prep coaching and would practice 4-times a week.

In recording their first win of the '59 season, Joe Warfield capped a 55-yd drive with a one-yard plunge in the 3rd Qtr and John Lemon passed to Rex Dainty in the 4th.  Lemon tossed a TD pass to Sherman Chambers in the loss to Monroe on Oct 11.

The team held a mini-banquet at Sonny Mueller's home on Dec 15, 1959 and made plans for 1960.

On Sep 21, 1960 Coach Hunton called off a scheduled game with the Olympics when an agreement couldn't be reached over a violation in player recruitment between the two Spokane teams.  When the met on Oct 23 the Rams were hampered by injuries according to Coach Hunton.

The previous week Rex Dainty returned an interception 55-yds for TD and Willie Jones scampered in from 10 yards out in logging the first win of the season over the Seattle Cavaliers.

The 1961 game against Columbia College saw the Rams give up 3 interceptions for touchdowns and a blocked punt for a fourth touchdown in the 42-0 blow out loss.

Former heavyweight boxer Terry Lewis picked off a fumble in mid-air returning it 33 yards to tie the game against Tacoma.

Dave Clutinger scored twice to boost Spokane to its first win of the season over Tacoma.

In Sep of 1962 the S.A.C. had trouble getting players interested in the program but eventually had about 30 signed up.  A scheduled game against Tacoma was postponed due to problems with insurance money and equipment.   The team would have to find financial backers to pay for insurance and the players would have to purchase their own equipment to make the season a go.
