Blasting through the RMFL in it's inaugural season of 1999, the Rebels won the Championship with only a forfeit to Blackfoot (a team they would defeat 3 times during the season by a combined 154-12) blemishing the record, Snake River won the RMFL title then embarked on a two-season odyssey as an independent in 2000 and the Utah League in 2001 where they were defeated in the Championship by the South Ogden Rhino-Raiders.

The 2002 squad returned from the Utah league rolling out to a 6-1 record, but was suspended by the RMFL before the playoffs began.

Snake River was disqualified from the 2002 RMFL playoffs due to not paying fees and fines on time as scheduled.

In 2004 the Snake River Rebels management decided it was time to shut down and most of the players merged with the Pocatello Silverbacks to form the Pocatello Predators
