The Kings were formed in 2013 by longtime player Ty Satiacum with the hopes of building an organization that the Puyallup Tribal community could be proud of.

Playing in the WWFA, the Kings had measured success early on but struggled against the PFL stalwarts Portland and Seattle in non-league games, however still won their first championship in 2015.

Following the shut down of the Seattle Stallions. the team that had dominated Puyallup 54-7 in 2015, a good chunk of talent from the Stallions arrived to play for the Kings and the latest incarnation of the Puget Sound "super team" emerged and began a 2-year run going 22-2, stopped only by an early season loss to Renton in 2016 and the Capital City Fury in the West Coast Championship in Sacramento, California.  The Kings had taken the crown from the Portland Raiders as Northwest best.  But, it was short lived.

The Kings had a good run, but as happens with so many minor league teams, the core of the ownership wanted to step away to focus on families and careers.  After much consideration and discussion with groups to potentially hand the team off to, Ty, Joe and Archie opted to go out on top and not risk the brand they had built falling into mediocrity.  The champs were no more, just two weeks after playing for the West Coast Championship.

Players would migrate to other teams including a surprisingly large number going "over the hill" to join the Wenatchee Valley Rams.

"It was a great experience for a few young 20-somethings who wanted a better brand of football in the Pacific Northwest"  - Ty Satiacum.
