First hitting the scene in 2016, the yellow-clad Nightmare fared well in the opener, coming up just short in a 26-20 loss to the winter season runners-up Mafia.  Receiver Malcolm Grady made an impression grabbing 5 passes for 196-yards and 3 TD's including a 90-yard streak to tie the game at 20-20 late in the 4th quarter.  Grady earned offensive player of the week honors.
 
In weeks 2 and 3 Ji'Laundre (Dre) Edwards won Special Teamer of the Week honors for his efforts as a kick returner.  Unfortunately, it meant the opponents were scoring as the Nightmare lost all six outings.  He would be called upon in Week 4 as a rusher racking up 171 yards and 3 scores on 25 totes as the Nightmare logged their first victory over the Venom.
 
Restarted in October 2018, the Nightmare joined the PNFL for the 2019 season as an expansion team.  Following a 5-4 season and a first round playoff exit, the Nightmare announced a merger with the long-standing Portland Raiders bringing an end to the Nightmare having posted a 6-9 record over two seasons.
