Six years after the original Matadors program merged with the Idaho Tribe
of the ICFL, and the Tribe shut down in 2018, the 'Dors name rose again.
With James Fehlhaber II at Head Coach, the new Matadors debuted in April
2022 and quickly became the primary challenger to the Idaho Black Tide.
As if on cue, the Matadors ran out to a 2-0 start before falling to the
Black Tide in game 3. Both regular season losses would come at the
hands of the Black Tide.
An expected third match in the ICFL championship did not come off as the
Matadors were shocked by the Treasure Valley Duckz 13-12 in the playoff
round.
