Butte scored five touchdowns in the opening half against Dillon State Normal School on Feb 22, 1898.  Boher and Ward starred for the Business College.  Ward would be tackled behind the goal line when facing the Butte Football Club Subs (2's) resulting in the tieing safety, snatching what would have been a big victory away from the Business College of the local stars.  Urban McLean, 130-pounder of the Reliance team played QB.

Playing against the "big daddy's" on Oct 2, 1898, the Business College dropped an 18-6 decision as the "Butte's" readied for a two-game set with Deadwood, South Dakota.

November started off rough as the University of Montana canceled the game stating the University would only play teams whose players are full time students of the college.  In a quick replacment, the Anaconda Anodes, chief rivals to the Big Butte Football Club, the Business College played in October, took the University's place.  They shellacked the Biz College 23-5.  Anaconda High also canceled a late November game without explanation.

The Butte Business College team made it's season debut of 1899 winning a 12-0 match up with the Butte High School team.  The stars of the day were Vadnais, Jack Foley blocking and J. O'Brien and Howard Opie on the scoring ends.  Vadnais would play the 1900 season with the Butte Reliance team, while O'Brien, Opie and Foley would be standouts with the Butte Juniors in 1903.

A scheduled game with the Anaconda Juniors for Labor Day 1900 was postponed.  Rescheduled for Sep 16, Anaconda again canceled the game for good.   Finally able to take the field, the Business College fell flat in a 10-0 loss to Butte High.

Later in October, a team called the Business College Juniors took on a team from East Park Street at Athletic Park. The "Juniors" consisted of: Lewis (E), P. Murphy (T), Wilds (G), Murphy (C), Collins (G), O'Neill (T), Keenan (E), Masterson (QB), Humphreys (HB), Slater (HB), and Hoban (FB).  Slater was the standout scoring two touchdowns, a Lewis the other.  Lewis featured in a 50-yard run when he picked up a Masterson fumble.

The 1901 season started off with a convincing win over the Anaconda Business College 18-0.  Many of the 1898 stars were once again on hand to lead BBC.  The team featured a revolving lineup through the first four games, however Lewis was the consistent runner.  The season finished with a Thanksgiving battle with the Ben West Colts that the BBC won 35-0.

A 1902 team was never formed and the only club to make the field in Butte was the "Old Butte Juniors" which had rebranded as the Broadway Athletics.  Kitto, Jack "One-Arm" Foley, Malloy, and others made their appearances with Broadway in 1902.

The Butte Business College football team played it's best season in 1901 and finished a five-year run as one of the top lightweight Butte teams of the day.

"One-Arm" Jack Foley was inducted into the Greater Northwest Hall of Fame in 2021
