After battling to a tie in front of 2,500 spectators on Thanksgiving Day, the troopers took a forfeit loss after protesting the Boise team using Charles LeMoyne, who it was agreed upon earlier, would not play for Boise in the return match.  The troopers wore Red, White and Blue uniforms.

The troopers issued a New Years Day Challenge to the Boise club on Dec 30, 1899 to celebrate the new century, but the game did not come off.

In early December, members of Fort Boise Barracks received orders to the Philippines beginning February 1.

The 1904 game versus the University boys involved select Barracks players along with Boise High players.  The all-star aggregation could not keep up with the collegians in the 18-0 loss.  The loss did not damped the soldiers spirits as they claimed the championship of the area having no losses to the teams in the Boise area.

Private Jones fractured his collar bone in the 1906 opener with the high schoolers.
