The B.C. Panthers entered the Northwest International Alliance at a time of upheaval and battle between rival leagues.  With high expectations, but little backing, the NIFA accepted the Panthers in order to complete the breakaway from league dominated by the Pierce County Bengals and have a competing 4-team league.

The Panthers forfeit their first game due to numbers and their second game, traveled to West Seattle with 13 players.

That one game with West Seattle was their first and last game in the league as they cancelled the remainder of the schedule.
