The 1918 Season was marred by interruptions due to Spanish Flu outbreaks that caused city officials to shut down events and for teams to quarantine and not practice. The military base teams continued to play, somewhat regularly as inter-regimental leagues were formed on bases were most of the top athletes were due to World War I.
