Mark Meadows - $5 Annually

The Marine team was organized very late in 1930 and were unable to secure a complete schedule.  A lack of practice also handicapped the team against their cross-town rivals.  Cliff Marker, former star of Washington State College team was selected as coach of the Leathernecks.  Some of the players from the Tacoma Athletic Club joined the Marine team, while others joined the rival Guard team.
