The Longhorns were born out of the turmoil following
the BC Spartans collapse and were immediately handcuffed with a road-games-only schedule due to the border crossing into Canada which proved
to be a sticking point for many players during the Spartans season of
2008. The Longhorns traveled to Bellingham
and were crushed 49-0 by the Bulldogs. The following week, the
Longhorns folded the team for the season. |
