2017 Northwest Player of the Year

Adam Kruse

Quarterback

Puyallup Nation Kings

Kruse, a former University of Mary player and member of European clubs in Finland and France, led the Puyallup Nation Kings to a spot in the West Coast Championship after winning the WWFA title and a GNFA title besting Russell Schneider and the Portland Raiders in a shootout.  No stranger to success, Kruse has been slinging the ball for the Kings the past two seasons and tied a Northwest record with 10 touchdown passes in a game last season, including a circus-style behind the back toss to the back of the endzone for a score in a game he set the record for most yards (625).

Kruse was edged out for Player of the Year in 2016 by the aforementioned Schneider, who led the Raiders to the GNFA title.

Kruse led the Seattle Stallions to the GNFA title in 2015 and was named Player of the Year.  This is the 3rd straight year Kruse has been in the Top 2 of voting for the award.
